Why the Scorpio will sell for no more than $399 (if its 6tflops).

Hey you guys do realize the $110 RX 460 is 20% stronger than the PS4's GPU... right? Sony could be selling the PS4S for $250 but they don't have to because XBOX no longer brings any competition to the console space.

Amazon says it's $140. How you can get a controller, motherboard, RAM, casing, etc, etc. for $160 more is beyond me. Sorry to break your bubble but you cannot but a more powerful gaming PC than the PS4S for $300. Or a more powerful gaming PC that the PS4P for $400.

$70 - CPU (Athlon x4)

$40 - 8GBRAM 

$45 - mobo

$30 - HDD

$30 - PSU

$30 - Case

 

So that's $355 for a PC 20% stronger than the $300 PS4.  Keep in mind that Sony doesn't need to pay for Windows.  They are making A LOT of money right now.

If you really want a laugh consider this would be almost twice as strong as the $300 X1S...
