The recent news around the web reports that Microsoft will be discontinuing it’s Lumia line of phones from December 2016 and today there were further reports suggesting that there may be no successor to its current fitness/ smart wearable product the Microsoft Band 2.  I really do like Microsoft consumer product but with news as outlined below, does this spell the beginning of the end of Microsoft’s venture into hardware under its current CEO's (Satya Nadella) leadership? Could Microsoft go the way IBM did some years ago with an emphasis on corporate services and away from the consumerable product model?
