It will improve graphics (though not at 4K) and it will be good option for a lot of current console gamers who want improved fidelity in their games; and don't want to delve into PC's. Though PS4 Pro/Xbox Scorpio won't change the playing field. I'm expecting 4K at 30FPS (native) to be the standard on Xbox Scorpio titles and all games to run at least 1080P like on the PS4 Pro. So yeah.. Both machines are mid generation consoles. MS had to play ball and release a new console. Because the Xbox One would pale in comparision to the PS Neo - and Scorpio is the answer. A stop gap for gamers who want to play on their new 4K TV's until the next big thing comes out.. (PS5/Xbox Two) |
PS4Pro is is just 100$ more than standrad one. If you look at the specs only gpu has twice the amount of CU and overclocked list the cpu and ram to give more boost in performance. In comparision Microsoft new console is a generation leap to Xbone and it is probably going to priced at 500$. I will not be even little surprised if the difference between their console will be 200$
