Sony fans of all people should understand this, since for the last 3 years It's been a point that xbox one struggles with 1080p and most are upscaled 1080p. It's been sonys fans most go to point for the ps4 vs xbox one conversation. of course closley followed by the exclusives thing. I personally dont have a dog in the fight. I work on both and have both companys systems. Just dont like the path sony is beggining to take. and PS4 has had at least 50 games released in the last couple months and atleast 15 left this month. I had to look it up since their have been no commercials for any of them. So push vue and not the games? |
Cable cutters are most of them tech enthusiast whom are very likely gamers, so of course Sony would advert to them first, then maybe they can get their family adn friends on it too. The point is that Sony isn't only a gaming company.
Sadly the Blu-Ray format is niche, the UHD Blu-Ray is a super niche inside a niche, it's just stupid for Sony to lose $15-20 per console for the minuscule amount of users that would use the feature. In fact they should consider releasing an SKU without Blu-Ray at all.
