Naughty Dog never owned Crash, so I don't even know what you mean by that.
Now about Jak, yeah, it didn't make the same kind of success, they tried something new and it did (Uncharted), then again they tried something else and it went even higher (TLOU), it's pretty easy why ND dropped Jak & Daxter, because people wanted them doing something else.

It's really hilarious to read someone say he doesn't trust a developer because it's not making this or that game. Not trusting the words of a dev because they aren't making certain games? It's not like they said they'd make those in the first place.
