It`s just what I think also. China nowadays has a thriving internal technology and internet economy, but they learned from the outside. Japan at first bought cars from the West and would reverse engineer them so they could start making their own. China is doing that with cars, planes, computers, cellphones and etc. Brazil has a terrible idea of protecting the local industry, even if this local industry is non-existent, and the single idea of copying what works outside is considered wrong. Many people here says " here is Brazil we will do things our way!" , but if we have milleniums of history and countries and companies doing things that work and that doesn`t work we don`t have to make the same mistakes as others to learn, we can take off from a much better position, and the local culture systematically denies that, that always leads this country for disaster. And our government is extremely short-sighted when making decisions. Dilma herself did everything she could to present good numbers for the year even if it meant setting a time bomb just waiting to explode, she and Lula just threw away everything FHC built in name of short term popularity, and now, this day and time in 2016, we are all paying for that with exception of the super riches.
