People want great tech, but don't want to pay for it. The simple fact that there was a huge amount of the consumers telling Sony that the PS4 Pro should be less than 400 or bust means some costs need to be cut.
I personally would be happier to pay more and get an upgraded CPU than getting any bluray drive at all. I'm 100% digital and yet already have to pay for a drive I do not want. Would be even worse if they added the UHD BR drive personally. I hope they can offer 2 PS5 sku when the time comes. 1 with no optical drive for cheaper would suit me just fine thank you very much
