It often comes down to which games you played first. You cut your teeth on the first game you play, and subsequent games become familiar territory. With the exception of the jump from Demon's Souls to the first Dark Souls, I found each new game I played got easier and easier, except for specific bosses. But that's just me getting better at playing those games.
