I understand your argument but I still don't see (not based on the pre-order data) why someone who doesn't have a ps4 wouldn't spend 50$ more to get the superior experience. Even Japanese who usually don't care about huge graphics games are going crasy with pro pre-orders(outselling the persona 5 bundle). imo Bundles only have a huge impact when it comes to the same HW with different options. I simply don't see how the slim will sell more than the Pro, even the "internet" when downplaying the pro says it is good for those who dooesn't have a ps4 now. Then again the only reason it might sell less is a shortage imo, and the ps4(all combined) will probably sell more than last year's 3Mill.
If sony hasen't released those bundles in the us yet , they probably want to push the pro more. All Im saying is regarding this holliday season with gifts and stuff, and the pro as a Gift sounds 10 times better than the slim as a gift; things might change after the holliday season.

I agree and not saying it's not popossible. Having a relatively small price difference should help the Pro and if Sony push both consoles equally then the Pro will do good numbers.
Sony will probably cut the price of the Slim to 250 so 150 price gap plus a free game should move a lot more slims than pros if Sony sticks to the 400 price tag for the Pro. I don't see Sony dropping the price of the so soon after it launches in November.

I think that a lot of people won't care about the power difference when one console is 150US$ cheaper than the other and come with a game. Neo won't have exclusive games, is just 2.something x stronger than the PS4.
