Forget 4K Blu-ray, as a die-hard PC gamer I'm hugely impressed by the PS4 Pro

So you are choosing a UHD media player.. over exclusive games and content?

While at the same time already having an xbox one?

Are you trading in your OG xbox one, or are you just picking up a second one?

Part of my point is that I need the UHD media player for the entire family, as I just bought a 70inch Samsung 4k tv with HDR.  I buy a ton of blurays and started to buy UHD blurays in anticipation of the Neo.  The benefit i get is that the physical discs come with the bluray+DVD+Digital version of the movie.  So, the kids can watch them while on roadtrips on the car DVD player, on tablets with the digital and on the big screen at home!   Most people don't realise that the streaming 4k content is really not good 4k.

 

As far as passing up on the exclusives go, I don't miss them if they wait a year.  I admit that was what I was waiting for the Neo for, as my wife agreed that if we had to buy a UHD player, an extra $50-$100  to get a Neo would have been worth it.  PS4Pro=excuse eliminated....

I haven't decided on whether to trade the xb1 for the xb1s.  Might be nice to have 2 around(I have 4 kids).  I will probably trade the xb1 for the xb1s and get the PS4pro in the spring or summer next year when it drops $50 during a special.
