I never raced online in DC. With the season pass it will give you enough to do for many months. Without, the track dlc is still free plus some extra cars. The Season pass adds tons of well set up campaign races and a lot more cars. Without ps+ you should still be able to join clubs and play all the online challenges (solo, evolution studios and club challenges), giving you infinite content. ps+ is only required for online racing.
You get 6 locations, 37 unique tracks, 84 variations (reverse and multiple circuit layouts for the race tracks and the one city track), plus drift and sprint sections for each varation. Plus ofcourse, dry, light rain, heavy rain, dynamic / any time of day, 15x to 60x time compression / clear, few clouds, overcast, storm (clouds generated unique each time), 4 difficulty levels, 1 to 11 opponents or time trial, tons of badges to earn, 120 fame levels + 60 expert levels to earn, 1134 total stars to gain, trophies for each extra campaign from the season pass (24 campaigns total, typically 11 events per each extra campaign), hardcore mode if you want it more realistic. With DLC total of 20 bikes, 114 cars in 5 speed classes.
While the base game was a bit bare DriveClub now has more content than any racer before it.
