People just want to start drama where there is none, as usual. A lot of these XB1 S owners who keep bringing it up probably don't even own a 4K TV, let alone ever bothered to buy a 4K Blu-Ray, and you're right; physical distribution for films and TV is dying out. Streaming services are simply much more preferable because of convenience, variety, and cheaper prices. In the case of PS4 Pro, it can still play regular Blu-Ray, and I'll my bottom dollar that Sony is going to introduce 4K movie streaming through either PS Vue or the PS store.
