I think people are missing the point about the UHD player. Even though streaming is popular with the masses for now. When 4k tv's become more common people will need to upgrade their internet connection to a faster speed to be able to stream. Most will not because they can't afford it, or they are screwed by a region where they have a shit ISP. I have a data cap as to how much I can use a month 4k streaming will kill my data in a week because it uses so much more than 1080p streaming.

Why are people so quick to agree that Sony is doing the right thing, instead of voicing their opinion and demanding choices?
Sony is following Apple's lead instead of giving you choices they are telling you what you want/need.
Like I said earlier I'm going to get the PS4 Pro since it will handle newer games better and if and when I jump into VR I will have a better experience there too. But I'm definitely getting the Scorpio too which is going to be my main entertainment hub.

i am voicing my opinion and my opion is i don't want UHD.  sony isn't telling me what i want/need.  sony created a product and i'm agreeing with their choice because physical is dead to me.  i'm happy that a ps4 pro won't include a UHD because it is a thing i will never want.  at no level is sony isn't going to put it in for free,.. if they put it in they'd simply raise the cost or cut costs somewhere else.

if you listened to the rumors the first draft of the neo had no upgrade to the cpu.  i far more appreciate that upgrade that will have an affect on games than the ability to play a movie format that is dead on arriaval.
