Everyone keeps saying its performance that matters.
Its not, its "perceived value".
Wii u = 176 gflops , PS4 = 1,84 teraflops. (1840 gflops) (10 times the power of the Wii u)
Price? both are 299$.
Scorpio needs to be competitive in price too.
If its 40% stronger than the PS4 Pro, it needs to aim for max 40% higher price.
By the time the Scorpio is out, PS4 Pro will have gotten a 50$ price cut.
Scorpio will live or die by the price its released at imo.
It cant launch at more than 499$ and do well vs the PS4 Pro.
And even if it ends up popular (the scorpio) the 1 year headstart of the PS4 Pro, will play a part.
I dont think Sony need to do anything to compete with the scorpio.
The Scorpio isnt even competeing with the PS4 Pro, for more than a year.
