My PC is long overdue. But I also was considering yet on the fence about getting a 4K TV in december, when I'll get my bonus from my job.
My PC can't run most of the games that have been released the last 2 or so years. So I've been playing on my consoles almost exclusively. When I'll be fed up of my current PC, I know it's going to cost me quite a bit (most likely around the last stretch of the current console gen)...
Now that I've seen what the PS4 Pro can do, I'll be upgrading to it when it comes out, just in time for FF XV no less. And I'll be able to get the TV to take advantage of it all roughly 3 weeks later. For about the price that a new PC would cost me (one that's build to my liking), I'll get a HDR 4K TV and a PS4 Pro. Now, considering my current PC is hooked up to my TV in my living room, I will already be ready for 4K PC gaming when the time for my new rig comes.
Besides, most of the games I'm most hyped for aren't (yet) coming to PC: FF XV, Horizon Zero Dawn, The Last Guardian, God of War, Detroit: Become Human...
