Really? I read some reviews where they said the UHD quailty were some of the best there is? I can see the review you are reading so I can see what the issues are?

I am thinking to go with this one for our TV:

http://www.samsung.com/us/televisions-home-theater/tvs/4k-suhd-tvs/55-class-ks8000-8-series-4k-suhd-tv-2016-model-un55ks8000fxza/

Here are a few reviews:

As Bang For your buck goes, it is the best option, but it is not the best option for playback quality. As you can see in all the reviews It comes down to, it is an awesome player, FOR THE PRICE.

The TV you are planning on getting is not bad but it is Edge-lit which in dark scenes will have a lot of light bleed in movies. This will be even more noticable in scenese that use HDR. If you want the best out of 4K you will want Array-lit LED (or micro-dimming...many names for this tech), or OLED. To get this you will need to spend at least another $600 on your TV.

So if you don't want to wait for 6 months or so for a dedicated 4K player and pay an additiaonl $600 on your TV then you will be more than happy with the 1S and TV combo you selected.

However, the TV should last you a good 7 years before it's tech get's old and depending on how many movies you watch and games you play, it may be worth the extra cash.

Yea but none of them really say that the image quailty is bad or anything. Infact, most of them say that the image quailty is stunning... So idk where you got that from? Yea they say its the cheapest but they don't say that the image quality is bad...

From your first link's review:

"The console shows off the advantages of 4K: remarkable clarity, minute details and lifelike textures. I could make out the consistency of the motor oil Charlize Theron smears across her face as war paint.

You also get a noticeably higher dynamic range. It isn't just about fierce bright areas and inky blacks: the fine increments between are subtly drawn too, and you get plenty of shadow detail. You also get the wider colour gamut that HDR promises. There's a part in Mad Max: Fury Road where somebody gets shot with a flare gun. When the reddish-orange smoke explodes, it's hard not to marvel."

From your second link:

"On the Xbox One S you get the full Ultra HD and HDR experience. The visuals from those top-spec TVs are stunning. Sure the top spec Panasonic UHD Blu-ray player might just edge things out in terms of absolute picture quality, but as so much is governed by the performance of the TV it's attached to, we think most will find themselves entranced by the richness and detail that Ultra HD Blu-ray offers from the Xbox One S."

And the third one just says its a great value and doesn't really say anything about the quality. Yea they are saying that the Panasonic one is better but it only "Edges" out which isn't exactly saying that the X1 Slim is bad...

The TVs that I have looked at, the Samsung one seems to review one of the highest. So which TV do you suggest I get?

Sorry about the late reply btw, I was driving T_T
