I won't have a 4K tv for a good time, and even as the Pro also benefits 1080p users, I don't think I'll pay more for it (or be able to), when I can get the Slim and more games, and I'll be able to play the same stuff.

PS4 quality is already more than enough for me, so if I don't really have that kind of money available for the Pro, I'm gladly getting the Slim.
It could at least have that 1TB drive... that is the biggest point to still keep me in doubt about getting it over the Pro, because getting a bigger HD later will make the it more expensive than the Pro and 500GB won't last much...

I don't think so. I payed...$85 for my 2TB that I have in my PS4 now and that was back in 2014. Just keep your eyes open for a sale and you should be able to pick one up for $50 or $60. Less for a 1TB.
