Bold - Right. Cause you said so, no? The entire industry should fit into what a few people like, no? Not Bold - Im 30, so not under 22, as if age even matters, but whatever. you brought it up - I've played FF since the NES. All of them besides the online ones or chronicles, so im gonna be as arrogant as to say I understand this game very well and "how it developed over the years" I've loved -almost- all of them. But a game is designed according to its time and place and the market is not "people over 30", if anything its the opposite. The very games you mentioned are what get audience and critical acclaim, why wouldn't you follow a winning formula? Im not saying thats the right or only path to follow, im just saying its the obvious one. Has nothing to do with the final quality a game has. In a franchise that reinvents itself with every new entry, does it even surprise you that the gameplay would change from game to game? If you don't like it thats you problem and its fine. I didnt like FF13's gameplay. I thought it was shit. But to go ahead and suggest "this game HAS to be this way because I don't like change" well kid, you're the problem. |
See right here a trade off of opinion is why I am sometimes ashamed of the gamer community. Where as I have no problem with the people, I have a problem with their actions, and how they think of things. I was hoping that people could come on here and be respectful, and discuss withought having to say anything harsh towards others. However I find it that when someone disagress with another person, more than often they will result to insulting, and getting deffensive. I will ask you to not insult him like htat, he is not the problem. The problem is the fact that people are so dumbfounded by the fact that people have a different opinion that they won't accept it at all. Are we not gamers so that we can enjoy the games of now, and of the past? Plus I do not see where you find him saying "this game HAS to be this way because I don't like change" he just stated his opinion. Yes he should not have said the part about people under 22 because that is wrong, but you do not need to react in such a way.
