The fact that Europe has already got it up for pre-order suggest one of two things to me: Either Sony believes the US customer is more likely to upgrade and so they're holding off promoting the Slim for now in order to clear old stock, OR more console were shipped in the US than in Europe. I can't decide which it is. It could be something else but those are more likely to me.

I hope you understand that because it's worded so badly and I need to sleep ...
