The value of the console is in it games, not movies. Games sell consoles, that include exclusives. I think this is a none issue for gamers in general, and If you gonna say, "But many many people bought a PS2/PS3 for dvd/bluray etc" Well guess what, many more bought it for the games.
I think it sucks it doesn't have a 4k bluray player, but I'm more than overjoyed with the games that is coming out exclusively for it.
