That's comparable to that $800 sony tv x800d, so yes.
The x800d is slightly better than the ku6300, except when it comes to input lag, 33ms Sony vs 20ms Samsung, yet Sony has less motion blur.

Thanks.  I'm thinking of maybe waiting another year to get a 4k TV because it seems the ones with the really good HDR are just too pricy.  4k TV prices have been dropping fast over the years so next year I should be able to get a top class TV for under $1000.
