FYI there's a probation going on. I'm sick and tired of it since it takes up most of my feeds for weeks now.

If tourists are your concern then your country should send an advisory to people who want to go there. That doesn't really give you any right to put your feet in through that door, wag a finger, and play big boss. Duterte's answers are correct. He should only answer to the Filipino People and not to Obama's outside comments.

Also how are you aware of the statistics? It's funny when this trended, people from the outside are now saying things as if they know about the issue clearly. I don't like EJK but god dammit if people say this didn't happen back then on a regular basis. They're lying through their teeth. It's been there ever since the end of the Marcos "Dictator" era.  Even in the term of our "so called Benevolent mother of Democracy" President Cory Aquino, this happens a lot. Seriously, people need to get a clue about what the environment of the country is before they start talking smack.

Your description is how dictators get away with human rights violations. When the only ones they need to answer to are the people, who are powerless or too afraid to speak up. This is the man who said that he wishes he could have raped Jacqueline Hamill first (an Australian missionary who was raped and killed in the city where he was mayor at the time), and he's running the law. Even saying that he will shut down and arrest legislators if they interfear with his plans.

You didn't seem to answer my question though. What happens if you wrongfully kill someone you suspect of using or selling drugs, but turns out that they actually weren't involved with drugs? As police, and as a civilian.
Let's say a woman asks someone for directions, and he starts to hit on her, but she turns him down and moves on. He gets angry and kills her, claiming that she asked him where to buy drugs. What would happen to this man?

And what statistic did I say I was aware of? If you mean that there doesn't seem to be much that deters people from comitting these murders, that's not a statistic, but based on things Duterte has said, such as how he would pardon police who were charged with human rights violations.
There's a good reason why excecutions tend to be left to law enforcement, and not to civilians on the streets.

Powerless? Did you think for a second how much power people have here? We're run by something worst than dictators. My people are sheeps and we danced to the ploy of Oligarchs in that remarkable show of democarcy called "Edsa Revolution". It was both a blessing and a curse. The dictator who was drunk with power was taken out at the same time the one who took over lead to multiple conflict of interests by bringing back what was taken from the Oligarchs due to their unjust monopolization. Making most of the commodities that otherwise should have been easily accessible and affordable for the general public a slow and painful death as time goes by.

I answered your question but you seem to think that I'm supporting the killings. I have been clear and stated that there is a probation going on and there have been multiple hearings and investigations. Big heads were being put in their place to answer to such.

What answer do you want me to give you except the obvious one.

Please tell me you have an idea of the politcs there before you even start this discussion. You don't even have an idea of the statistics before hand and you start harangguing me with such questions trying to make it seem we have a valid equal argument here.

It still doesn't change my stance that I agree with Duterte on this one. That there is a process taking place and Obama or America has no God damn say about it regardless of their past assistance. He is a president of the Philippines who will answer to only the Filipino people.
