They don't talk about emulation because they can't go after emulation its a legal tool that most people use illegally. Also flash carts are almost a thing of the past, there was a huge lawsuit a few years ago that shut down a lot of sellers and creators. You keep dancing around the fact that this is going to be used to pirate games like ever oasis, pikmin, dragon quest 8 and other 2017 releases. It doesn't matter of its only 1 lost sale or a million either way it's shitty and hurts the game

Well to me and many others who use emulation legally its not shitty and gives an experience much better then the original hardware ever could.

And yes the companys could go after emulation if they could proof it is indeed having such a large impact on software sales but i bet just like you they would have a hard time doing so.

Your the one dancing around questions since you seem to enjoy ignoring most of my points such as how flash carts have a much bigger impact on sales then emulation ever would. And please dont tell me flash carts or devices like them are dying when it just takes a very quick google search to see the is 1000's of different sites selling them..

You also ignor the fact it would cost a person who wants to emulate newer systems much more then it would to just buy that system and get it modded/buy a flashcart. Like i said when companys talk about piracy they leave emulation out since they themselfs know they would have a hard time proving it has a large enough impact on sales to justify stopping it when the is far more good points for emulation. Thats the only reason companys have not yet shut down emulation and never will..

They have a harder time proving the impact of emulation because it's so easy to do and hard to track. Dozens if not hundreds of different sites each one with its own collection of roms its damn near impossible to track down every site. flash card sellers on the other hand are actual businesses they're some what legitimat all it takes is a lawsuit and a court order and Nintendo could easily find out exactly how many flash cards have been sold. Also 3ds flash carts are rare I checked Amazon and eBay and between both sites I only found 1 and even then I'm pretty sure it was mainly meant for original DS games and the only websites i found that sell them definitely aren't places you would want to put credit card info into
