I don't think its possible to do HDR without a HDMI 2.0 port. 

Not to mention only 4k tv's support HDR. Look online and find me a 1080p tv that supports hdr. 

You're obviously just here to bash everything from the announcment so why bother.

Sony can't just come out and say something when all tech so far says that it is not possible.

It's like my current internet is only 12 mb. There is zero reason for me to buy netflix 4k streaming cause on their site they say it requires 20 mb internet. 

There is zero poitn in the current ps4's to support hdr content in a firmware update if the data gets bottlenecked by the hdmi cord and can't send that much data to the tv to even support it.
