| ZenfoldorVGI said: @bbsin Is there a reason you left out the gamesradar complaint: "# Punishing difficulty makes victory nigh-impossible" Cause it sheds a lot of light on their review. In fact, the majority of the review complains only about the difficulty and fairness of the game. All the other reviews praise the difficulty, and Gamesradar says itself, if you loved the first Ninja Gaiden, you will love this game. You shouldn't leave that out, because again, it sheds a lot of light on why they gave it a 7, and indeed will discredit that relatively poor review in a lot of people's eyes. To be honest, if you didn't have that Mass Effect avatar, I'd have my suspicions that you were attempting to make the game look bad by that omission. Could you please respond to this post and perhaps edit the OP to add that all vital fact into the negatives of the gamesradar review section, please sir. |
I left the "# Punishing difficulty makes victory nigh-impossible" part out because " Punishing difficulty makes victory that much sweeter" kinda negates it (atleast IMO). If I added their negative views about difficulty , I'd have to add their positive view about difficulty, which would make it look pointless. Regardless, I don't think diffilculty is a negative for anygame unless the player is completely handicaped and treated unfairly due to crap controls and BS A.I (which isn't true in NG). With that said, I will gladly respond to your posts but I won't change the summary of the OP since it's not my goal to discredit GamesRadar even if I disagree with their complaints about difficulty. If people choose to ignore/discredit any of the reviews, it would be 100% up to them. Either way, I'm not averaging all the scores so if 7.0/10 is not common and ends up as the lowest score, I don't think that it would bring any unjustified harm toward NG2 hype.
