That seems silly. I can't imagine it being more profitable to take a game off the service than to leave it on. I can understand if they wanted to clean marketplace up some, but I'm sure there are notably better options than cutting off sources of potential revenue. The demo-to-purchase ratio would have to be terrible to warrent such an action, and simply disabling the demo would be a better option than eliminating content in my opinion.
