That would be cool - it was already confirmed that if you cast fire on a grassy plain - the grass will light on fire and burn all around it lol

I'm sure they confirmed that weather also effects spells, I'm sure I can recall them saying if you cast fireworks in rainy condition they will extinguish much faster than when it's sunny.
