The XBs is performing really badly for an enhanced, slimmer, cheaper version of the XB1, especially when you consider the bundle that's slipping down the charts has also got three free games included. The PS4 is clearly being affected by news of the Slim and the Neo. People have to remember that when the PS4 was performing well, it was nearly always in the top 20 and we've already established that anything outside of the top 20 doesn't significantly affect sales numbers. As you go further down the charts the differences become smaller between the console places so having 2 PS4s after 1 XB1 is likely the reason the first update of Sep has the PS4 in the lead.

It's becoming ever clearer that to use Amazon as a clear indication of who won the month we have to have three criterias in mind: The console in question HAS to establish itself in the top 20 and stay there for most of the month, outside of the top 20 we have to consider how many of the opposing console are just below it and (of course) pe-orders are often the deciding factor even though one particular console has lead for the duration of the month. It's the latter that will decide this month and give the XB1 a decent sized win.

As Shadow pointed out in another thread, once the Slim and the Neo launch we're likely to see the PS4 in the lead again, but it HAS to sustain a top 20 position for the month in order to give us any significant numbers. I think it will.
