Protocol, 12th March 1908

Town of Littleton, a rural settlement, formerly 12 inhabitants, 10 remaining. Normally at this time of the day Sheriff Davis would sit around in Miss Notches Inn on the western end of town, but today he didn't. Today his heart was pierced by a knife, just like it happened to Doctor Lloyd a day ago. With two important inhabitants of the town dead, there are no less than 6 suspects, the same six Davis found to be possible killers of the Doctor, maybe he found out just a little to much and talked to the wrong person first. To prevent more murder, the old Farmer  locked them up in the Sheriffs house and took off with his wife and son to find help. Only I remain, watching that building, my gun loaded in case somebody tries to escape, though I would rather not have to shoot someone.

Inside the Building:

Ernest Twinbolt, a merchant who would normally be on his way to trade new supplies for us in the city for the next 3 days, he recently failed to gather supplies needed by the doctor and fought with him over it several time, some say he was holding a grudge since his wife died during childbirth and his son, sickly, died soon after.
Marsha Notches, the lady running the Inn, she had eyes for the doctor for some time but alas, he didn't have them for her. She really tried to make him have them though, a bit too aggresive in my taste.
Mildred Miller, a young lass, studied, came to this town to protocol the wildlife around here, I'd paint her an envious one and the Doctor Lloyd had a thing for her. She permanently resided in the Inn. She liked the flattery she got, but seemed pretty disturbed by the doctor not turning down Miss Notches outright.
Walter Edding, I'd call him notoriously drunk. He would help at the old farmers house every second day or so, only to drink the days he took off away. He often got into fights and could only share a good word with me and the farmer. He had threatened to kill the doctor several times in his drunken stupor, but nobody paid heed up until now.
Lewis, a rather dumb guy. Often helped out at the doctors place, claims to be the last one to have seen the doctor alive and the first one to see him dead. Personally I do not think he did it, but oh did he talk himself into this one. I am not sure how his relationship was with the doctor lately, but Miss Notches told me some days ago the doctor didn't pay him fairly.
Josephine Waters, my wife, she claimed she didn't do it right after it happened, but it was our kitchen knife they found lodged in between the doctors ribs. I hope she didn't do it, for my names sake and for the name of our child she is currently carrying. Some said that made her the prime suspect for the first murder, but it was a knife from the Inn stuck in Davis' chest. She had her reasons to begrudge the doctor even, though I would rather not talk about them.

I was lucky enough to be away til this morning, so I am the only one besides the farmer who didn't have the opportunity to kill the doctor, since he lay with his wife and his son walked up on them, thus being occupied soothing those troubles, with the son being still young and able to describe what happened that night quite lively, I doubt he is lying.

Protocol end - Eddard Waters

All PMs sent, do not edit posts, the game is already started, common mafia rules apply

The common town message will just contain a link to this thread, and the name of the person you will be playing, flavour came before the killer was rolled out of the suspects.

Regarding voting rules/tiebreak rules, see opening post here, since this game is rather small, I will not impose a pre-set timelimit, but will consider doing so when there is lacking progress
