When Clifford B talks about this game being bad ass, he actually means it.

Halo style matchmaking has got me excited, that system works very well.

5 v 5 is a natural progression in still keeping with the team cohesion of the multiplayer.

Frankly i's a pathetic amount of players. I was so expecting at least 10 v 10 this time.

Resistance 2 manages perfect team/squad management. And the player limit is 60. What is Epic's or Microsoft's server problems?

Gears multiplayer is not like traditional fps multiplayer. It's more small squad based, not about large battles.

I don't think large numbers would with with gears, if you have played gears online you would know.

If you have played it and didn't like it then you probably prefer COD4 type games.

Gear's gamepaly is fine. Just saying it could use a bit more of an upgrade. Like I said, 10 v 10. That would make the game perfect. That way you could do alot more with the gameplay. You could do everything from a deathmatch to squad based gameplay to everything it has done before and more 5 v 5 just seems small.

Yeah i can see how many people will think it's small, but i think epic have said they thought about more players and decided that gears is more suited to smaller teams. In 10v10 squad deathmatch, the games could be much longer than they are and people would be just quit because of waiting.

But yeh i understand when you compare 5v5 to 60 players in resistance, it's going to look very small but the style is very different.
