They won't go down as long as physical version of games are the most sold. Console manufacturers and publishers will not undercut Gamestop and other retailers with the digital version of games as they are afraid of burning bridges with these retailers who are the biggest promoter and seller of their games.
Maybe one day when consumers shift over to a majority digital we'll see digital prices change but as long as retailers are the biggest avenue by which people buy games, it's not gonna happen.
