No, there are no Time-travel in this game at all, simply because Time-travel isn't real, the concept of time is made by man, we have a 24 hour cycle on earth but the cycle on another planet might be 12 hours or 80 days depending on the speed in the rotation of that particulare planet, so when your in a spaceship, the concept of time as we know in is no longer applied, just when we travel to another continent, we need to adjust our clocks to their time and that is the closest to Time-travel you or anyone else will ever get. 70s sci-fi had the same concept except from the Planet of the Apes, Dr.Who etc which it's entire plot is about Time-travel. Even if you went through a Dark Hole, if the most popular theories was true (We don't know) then we would not travel through time, we would skip the time it would take us to travel from one end of a galaxy to another like the "backdoor of Matrix like in Matrix second movie" So technically it's not Time-travel, it's skipping time of distance.
I have not seen anything that suggest that most of these theories are true. Let us look at the universe the same way as we know about Evolution and the eco-system on earth, we know that seeds can survive long-distance sea-travells without drowning, strand on a Beach and start growing and then imagine this in space, when a Planet implodes or explodes, it shoot spores of seeds and a lot of microscopical species that will instantly freeze and be sustained out into space, strand and be introduced to another unknown planet, the surviving micro-life will start adapting to the enviroment and after billions of years to finally be big enough to be seen (There is plenty of Microscopical creatures we hate found that is impossible to destroy, not even space will kill it. Ofc if the conditions on that planet doesn't offer them a chance, they will die out if that planet isn't below Zero.
So basically you should not be surprised if close solar systems can have similare life, they can share the same source which have adapted differently from each-other at different stages in evolutional experimental growth.
But i do wonder way they couldn't see each, are they 100% sure to be at the exactly same place? this happens to me and friends in Elite Dangerous when we aren't on the same live-server.
I love going to the boarder with sweden, ir i cross the red line, i go one hour ahead and when i go back into Norway, i go one hour back in time. Yeah it sounds like something that isn't funny but it is if your with friends and are joking around.

Also i regret this comment already, i fear i might hade provoked someone who believe time-machines are real but the future just know that they can be seen by us... Based on som Photos which clothes looks modern and hearing-aid just happens to look a cell-phone.
