I wonder if the game will benefit from the S model. Maybe the resolution sticks around 900p more often than not? Either way I got the Xbox One S for FFXV so I'm looking forward to it.

The benefit should be there, albeit fairly small.

I guess I won't be playing this until 2020 when it finally releases on PC...

On the plus side, I might get to play it in 8K LOL.

It will be locked to 1080p30 on PC.

Please don't give them ideas. :(

My favorite experience with a 3D game was OOT on the original N64 and the resolution/frame rate for that game is absolutely disgraceful. I think 900P and 28FPS is just fine and anyone who complains needs to rethink their priorities.

Yeah, nah. My expectations are higher than that.

Going back and replaying Nintendo 64 games today on the Nintendo 64 is not a pleasant experience.
Emulated on the PC with 1440P+60fps with graphics enhancements however... ;)

What is dynamic resolution? Will the reso change while playing? I think thats annoiyng when the graphics quality changes all the time.

Correct.
It's actually a fantastic technology for consoles as they don't have the hardware capability that PC's have to maintain solid framerates with all the graphics dialed up to 11.

Ironically... I also can't stand it. I tried to eliminate it in Halo 5 by limiting my resolution to 720P... However the game always renders at the same resolution and then is scaled after that. lol

765P is a strange resolution.

Indeed.
16:9 should mean it is 1360x765.
Which is a slight improvement over 720P's 1280x720 and is almost a good fit for most 720P TV's actual 1366x768 resolution.
