My gaming headsets are broken as well, XBox one, 360 and ps3, all done for. And I don't play much online anyway. I now use open air Sennheiser headphones, no mic, it's not for online play. Sound quality is pretty good. I only really use them for my laptop, rest is connected to dedicated 5.1 system.
