I do have Sennheisers for music tho and they are pretty good.

I wish I had kept the warranty papers and tried that. But I hate to mess with warranty, find the papers and put the stuff in its original package and having to argue with a storekeeper.

What I do is that as soon as I buy an expensive product, I take a picture of the reciept with my phone and it gets uploaded to my drive automatically. That way if shit hits the fan, I always have a backup copy. And generally, the reciept is all the manufacturer wants to see.
