If you want to watch hd-dvd's, then an add on does exist, but every model of the 360 plays dvd's with no problem. I think you may be thinking of the original xbox.

@ OP, you mentioned:

Elite: Add wireless, Blu Ray, keep the price at $450.

If that happened, then it would be a very competative move. But IMO there is no way they could ever make the $450 price point work.
