I haven't touched 3 yet, but I think 1 is a bit better than 2 tbh.
Though I will say that the PC port of 1 without DSFix is REALLY bad.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
