Very, very welcome addition to the game. I was amazed when I first tried to do this that this wasn't a thing.

This is a godsend. 

I don't know how I feel about that. On the face of it it looks like a nice addition but it could lead to many players not even landing on planets and exploring them. Perhaps the new 'curiosity' tab has something to do with redressing the balance by adding other incentives for exploration.
