I got one with no fuss, though that was likely in large part due to the fact that my reasons had to do with the crashes worsening to the point where the game became unplayable. Rather than wait and see if the new patch might or might not fix the issue without bringing up brand-new issues, I contacted Sony support, made it clear that I've been sold a non-functional product, and that the only reason I kept it for so long I was under the hope that things would improve after the initial patching, not worsen. Didn't get any sort of argument or refusal, they just reminded me of the usual policy on refunds, then in the same breath gave me a refund. xP
