That would be hilarious because FIFA and UEFA would go into meltdown and change the rules immediately.

The current rules (implemented at the same time as the Europa started giving a CL place) mean that there is a maximum of 5 teams per country allowed in the CL so assuming they haven't changed that rule (nothing to suggest they have) then it would be the 4th placed league team that misses out just like it would be at the moment.

Although the chance of an English team winning the Europa seems pretty slim anyway

Don't know about that tbh Mourinho's Utd look to be a force to be in future.
