Why would a cheaper to make model be released at the same price as the current model? I just don't get that. I fully expect the PS4 Slim to be $299 at the most seeing as we have been expecting a price drop for some time. Although I can see the Slim being anywhere from $249 - $299. The Neo on the other hand will be anywhere from $349 - $449.
Do I expect there to be a $100 difference with the units? Maybe not, maybe there will be a $150 difference that will account for the bigger HDD, UHD drive and faster CPU/GPU.
Going with that logic....we will either see $299 PS4 Slim and $449 PS4 Ultra (Neo) or $249 PS4 Slim and $399 PS4 Ultra (Neo).
Prediction (June 12th 2017)
Permanent pricedrop for both PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro in October.
PS4 Slim $249 (October 2017)
PS4 Pro $349 (October 2017)
