Ha, that's true. I prefer to play most 3D games with KB+M, so my Pro controller only sees periodic use.

12hrs on the DS4 may actually be almost enough for me. I'm pretty lazy about plugging in my wireless devices. I usually just plug them in once a week, if I can get away with it, so somewhere in the realm of 14-24hrs is ideal.

I think your needs are a little outside the capacities of the DS4 unfortunatelly =[ not sure how much sony is saving by putting so meager battery on the controller... but for the price they charge, a bigger battery eating the margin isn't an excuse for me.

Same with cellphone, I can't understand why they try and make cellphone slimmers (they are already hard to grip) instead of using the shaved space on the eletronics to fit bigger batteries and give us a cellphone that can at least hold for a day instead of half or even 1/3 on hard use.

I find it hard to believe any of these controllers can possibly cost these companies more than $20 to produce, but for some reason they find the need to charge $50-60, while cutting corners at that. M$ is even worse. $50 for the controller and $20 for a battery pack. It's madness. My phone has a 2540mah battery, and a replacement can be found for between $5-10, but I'm sure any mega corporation could have them manufactured for a fraction of that.

Yeah, the cellphone thing really bugs me, too. Imagine how long these things would last if companies weren't always pushing to make them thinner and thinner. You already need a case to be able to hold them comfortably. Meanwhile if you want a full day's use out of the things you need to bring an external battery with you anyway. Such a waste.
