No batteries please, thats last century tech :) - I dont think many people would want batteries, in fact MS get derided alot for making controllers with batteries every time they launch a new console.

Seriously just have two controllers, charge one and play the other, I've not once ran into any issues with not having a controller to play. Having a second controller then also means you dont need a charging unit for the batteries and you can use it to play co-op, win win.

I've played many many hours on PS/4 and have not once yet needed to replace a controller - because the more controllers you have, you spread the wear and tear on them...

So instead of buying batteries which you usually have in the place you live and buy decent ones like eneloops, the solution is to spend another $60 for a second controller?

I guess this is really something people won't agree on ever.

I have several rechargeable batteries and they are a pain in the ass, even the specific battery of my 5D is a hassle to remember to charge, the common batteries for flash, some controllers, etc are alway empty whenever I need them.

And sure thing 60 bucks will be cheaper than buying several batteries and forgetting them uncharged.
