I see... I don't like my DS4 battery life as much as I like the DS3... the DS4 can probably survive a full gaming weekend (12+h) but the DS3 would usually survive a whole week (so probably 30+h) I never measured any of them scientifically.

And if you have 50h on Pro Controller and only charged 4 times you use it very little =]

Ha, that's true. I prefer to play most 3D games with KB+M, so my Pro controller only sees periodic use.

12hrs on the DS4 may actually be almost enough for me. I'm pretty lazy about plugging in my wireless devices. I usually just plug them in once a week, if I can get away with it, so somewhere in the realm of 14-24hrs is ideal.

I think your needs are a little outside the capacities of the DS4 unfortunatelly =[ not sure how much sony is saving by putting so meager battery on the controller... but for the price they charge, a bigger battery eating the margin isn't an excuse for me.

Same with cellphone, I can't understand why they try and make cellphone slimmers (they are already hard to grip) instead of using the shaved space on the eletronics to fit bigger batteries and give us a cellphone that can at least hold for a day instead of half or even 1/3 on hard use.
