It doesn't have to be race, if you've grown up with a lisp, being blind, a skin condition, autism or any other disibility. And society made you feel like shit for it, it's obviously there will be a group of them that will say 'Fuck you, I'm proud of who I am'. 

Look at the context of what you said and try to say that you weren't implying it.

Society make you feel like shit for everything you are born, but only the minorities moviments want special threatment for how bad society threats everyone
