Its not so much that it didnt have games aimed at "core" is that it had a LOT more games NOT aimed at the "core". Nothing wrong with that, it is what it is, but lets not pretend like it was equal. It wasnt even close. The games are usual inferior to other versions if they came at all and it still missed KEY core titles, like Elder Scrolls, Assassins Creed and GTA

I dont see how that really changes anything. If a console has 25 games that appeal to you than why does it matter if it also has 50 games that dont appeal to you?

but thats my point it DOESNT have games that appeal to me, at least not that much, all those games I mentioned appealed to me and were not on Ninty systems, among many others that never made it to the system and if they did they were much worse versions, which who would want to play that if they have and option to not to? You cant just put "open world game number 371" on the system like its a subsitute for missing GTA IE. Thats not how it works and thats not what people will respond to. And I know im not the only one who feels that way, the sales for the software and home consoles speak for themselves, as for the games I didnt want IE the shovelware nothing wrong with that but to pretend like those games didnt dominate that system is straight lying.
