But yeah, you do make a good argument. I'm not entirely convinced because 'VR' isn't so expensive that it completely prices out people in developed countries and of course there are factors that could put people off of VR arcades, that's if that many even pop up in the first place of course.

But the vast majority of those people just can't afford owning a PC or paying full price for games or subscriptions. This business model allowed to those people to be included in PC gaming whitout having to rely on piracy and very outdated hardware. You need to have a business model best suited for your market reality and product  than trying to force what works like USA for example. 

And VR I think has a better chance because the product itself seems to be better suited to an Arcade like environment than for home entertainment, I think it's very valid to push VR to homes, but I also hope Sony, Facebook and HTC have something in mind for this VR Arcade as well.
