and yes, there are quite a lot if people saying it looks ugly

the initial pictures made it look ugly. but the more i see of it the more the console desgin is growing on me.

This is also why Marketing guys are probably not happy about this leak. When they take professional shots, they can make it look much better than some random guy on the internet takeing crappy pics of it.

It looks much better in the youtube video of it, than those first pictures we saw.

Im sure sony has some photographers that could show this thing of even better.
