When you talk objectively about anything that you can provide tangible evidence to back, the other persons argument will fall apart.
That and he uses historical data a lot, so it takes time to actually remember the numbers and nail down the correct concepts of the times around that data, then you have to have a counter arguement and the level of defeatism must be low on both sides, when you can come to a great conclusion that is irefutable by all things except delusion; your virtually an debating powerhouse.
No overly expressed point has to be proven at this level of conversation as just the facts speaks volumes.
Basically he's right because he only talks about what he knows. It takes a brilliant person to just shut the hell up and listen.
