Current PS4 components are a lot cheaper than Vita current retail Price. If you leave out thehard drive and replace it with a 128gb or 256gb SSD or any flash drive (these are getting cheaper and cheaper everyday, and have better performance) You could get a solution on it... but will run only digital games, and they could use Samsung's new UFS standart instead of micr SD cards (I know that Sony have good relationships). http://www.theverge.com/circuitbreaker/2016/7/7/12115616/samsung-ufs-removable-memory-cards
Trinity's PS4 games doens't need to be the complete data from the full games as the protable doubtfuly will reach 1080p resolution on Screen (1600x900p should be the ideal), and they could use some compresion method on some others.
I think that's possible, from a technical and financial point of view.. But still doubt Sony will make something like this that could please me so much... a Portable PS4 retro compatible with Old PS4 games and Vita games? Too much good to be true... so surelly will be a Vita+ with current mobile technology... A shame, really :(
